Empik Go

The Empik Group remains a leader in digital content distribution in Poland.
Its activity spans the entire value chain: from publishing and distribution to selling content to customers through subscription and à-la-carte models.
Empik Go is one of the leading digital content apps on the market, with a catalogue of more than 220,000 audiobooks, e-books and podcasts. It offers subscription-based access to titles from major publishers as well as original audio superproductions featuring full acting casts.

The Empik Go service is available to individual customers, businesses and public libraries.

As a leader in digital content, Empik Go also specialises in the full-scale production of audiobooks, podcasts, audio dramas and audio series. In 2024, it opened the largest audio-dedicated recording studios in Poland, covering nearly 400 m²:

• 6 recording studios, including 2 adapted for multi-voice productions (podcasts and audio dramas)
• 8 sound engineers
•  more than 350 collaborating voice actors 

The Empik Go studio delivers projects both for the Empik Group and for external clients, including publishers, authors registered on the Empik Selfpublishing platform, independent creators and brands. In 2025 alone, the studio collaborated with brands such as PKP Intercity, Bank Pekao S.A. and InPost.

Empik Selfpublishing

Empik Selfpublishing is a distribution platform for independent authors, enabling them to publish their books and sell them within the Empik ecosystem. It is the first service of its kind in Poland offering such broad and direct distribution (Empik.com, Empik Go, virtualo.pl). Titles can be published in three formats: e-book, audiobook and print book. Joining the platform is completely free of charge.

• In 2024, 3,606 authors joined Empik Selfpublishing, bringing the total number of creators registered on the platform to over 6,500 by year-end.
• There are currently more than 9,000 titles available for sale, of which 85% are e-books, 9% printed books and 6% audiobooks.
