Łukasz Waszak | Member of the Supervisory Board

Investment Director and Head of Investments in Poland at Penta Investments. He joined the Penta Investments team in 2013.

Previously, Łukasz Waszak spent over six years at the Polish office of McKinsey & Company. As a Project Manager, he worked with the management boards of leading companies in Poland, Central Europe and Western Europe on the preparation and delivery of major strategic, operational improvement and transactional projects.

His experience spans multiple sectors, including financial services, telecommunications, retail, industrial and consumer sectors. In retail specifically, he worked on developing a growth strategy for a leading Polish retail chain, the commercial integration of two grocery chains following one of the largest acquisition transactions on the Polish market, and the implementation of an operational improvement programme for a major big-box retailer.

Łukasz Waszak holds an MBA from INSEAD in France and Singapore, where he also completed part of the programme at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in the United States. He previously earned a master’s degree in finance and banking from the Warsaw School of Economics.
